The Fundación Instituto Feiral de Vigo (IFEVI) was born with a vocation of service to the occupational and social sectors of the Euroregion of becoming " the best showcase of Vigo and the North of Portugal
Founded in 1998, the Instituto Feiral de Vigo (IFEVI) has established itself as a meeting point key for professionals in the northwest of the peninsula. His dynamic approach and not-for-profit organization, along with its clear vocation to create services, positions it as a leader in the region.
Thanks to its board structure and the services it offers, IFEVI has been recognized as a Foundation of Interest Galego, according to the Law 12/2006. This recognition reinforces its role as an institution at the service of the community.as a leader in the region.
The combination of enthusiasm, with international projection and the joint effort of the organization and the citizenship has allowed IFEVI to act as a launching pad for ambitious business projects. The institution is notable for promoting new areas of business, maximize local resources and apply optimization techniques to market innovative, opening up a range of opportunities for professionals.

IFEVI emerged to fill a need, latent in Vigo, a city with a leading role in the industrial region of the atlantic. Since its inception, has been a center of synergies professionals that drives an intense activity of fairs and congresses, generating business and projects that have exceeded the original expectations.
State of the art facility
With a surface area of 100,000 m2, IFEVI account with a Service Building, the epicenter of the congress activity and leisure, and 30,000 m2 of pavilions housing fairs and shows of a multidisciplinary nature. The site has been equipped with advanced technology and functional spaces to suit any type of event, from fair to sports.

Organism of Government
The governing bodies of IFEVI are composed of the Board of trustees and the Executive Committee. The Board of trustees, chaired by the Conselleira of Economy of Galicia, includes representatives of the regional Government, the Municipality of Vigo, the Provincial council of Pontevedra, and the Confederation of Entrepreneurs. The Executive Committee, headed by the Director General of Commerce, manages the day to day operations.
